Clock off before it stops being fun

No money is at stake at the works, but habits are real all the same. This is how we deal with them.

Why free soap-works slots are still 18+

Social casino games share the look, sound and rhythm of real gambling. Lather Vat Works is meant only for adults over the legal gambling age and is not aimed at anyone under 18. You confirm your age twice: first on the banner that meets you on arrival, then with a tick when you create your account.

Lines the works will never cross

  • Offering or promoting real-money gambling, in any room.
  • Handing out prizes with any real-world value.
  • Selling froth coins or adding in-app purchases.
  • Linking out to gambling operators or to affiliates.
  • Countdowns or streaks that push you back to the works.

A plain warning from Hortensia

A free machine can be set up to feel generous, and it tops up your balance at no cost. Real-money games do neither of those things. How you fare here tells you nothing about how you would fare with money on the line.

Warning lights worth watching

  • Your shift running far longer than you meant.
  • Turning snappy when the shift ends.
  • Pulling levers to get away from a mood.
  • Play eating into your sleep, your shifts or the people around you.
  • Catching yourself hunting for a real-money version of the machines.

Keeping your hand on the valve

  • Choose how long the shift lasts before the first spin.
  • Leave the autoplay lever in the off position.
  • Down tools now and then.
  • Clear this site’s data to wipe the slate, or block the site in your device settings if you want to stop for good.

A free social casino in a soap works: not a single lever here is real-money gambling.

Lather Vat Works admits adults of 18 and over and nobody else. Each machine runs on virtual coins with no monetary value, and those coins can never be bought, sold, withdrawn or exchanged. You will not find a coin counter or a payment page anywhere in the works, no prize of real-world value is on offer, and doing well here does not imply future success at real-money gambling.
